For the last two nights, Madeleine has decided that sleeping is not as important as it used to be. What is more important to her now? Eating. That’s right. Eating. Non. Stop.
Now she sleeps for 5-6 hours a night, which would be fine, if she didn’t try to go down for the night at 6 pm! Last night I had to wake her up after a 3 hour nap that started at 4:30. Then wait and put her down for the night at a more reasonable time. She still only slept until 4 am-ish. And once she’s up, she’s up for good. Which means no going back to bed for me!
So, along with a very tired mommy, we have a very hungry baby. And mommy can’t sleep when baby’s hungry because I am her food source.
From what I’ve found online, this should only last a couple of days, so hopefully by the end of the weekend we’re back on track and back to our normal routine. Eeessshhh!
