About a month and a half ago we took Madeleine to the doctor because she had her first cold. While I was there, I asked him about pollen allergies because Madeleine’s drippy eyes seemed to start with the high pollen warnings.
He said that it very well could be allergies. That a lot of people seem to think children don’t develop allergies so soon, but that some do and that he felt she did have them just based on my description.
What I learned from him is that if both parents have allergies to the same thing, the child is 80% likely to have that allergy as well. Something to consider if you both have seasonal allergies!
